Andrew H. Doane practices primarily in Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, and Business Litigation. Mr. Doane has been co-counsel in a number of the Firm’s complex and high profile personal injury, ERISA and employment law cases.
Mr. Doane attended Central College in Pella, Iowa. At Central he served as President of Phi Delta Tau Fraternity and President of the Greek Council. In 2004, Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude and with Honors.
Mr. Doane attended Drake University Law School. During law school, he gained courtroom experience while serving as a student attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic, and he gained valuable mentoring and practical experience as a two year member of LaMarca & Landry’s highly regarded law student clerkship program. In 2007, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Drake University Law School with High Honors. He earned the grade of “Top A” in four courses.
Mr. Doane is licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa.
Mr. Doane is a member of the American Bar Association and the Iowa Association for Justice. He was selected by the Iowa State Bar Association to serve on its Ethics & Practice Guidelines Committee. He has volunteered as a Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scouts of America, as a Legal Observer during the 2008 national elections, and as a legal researcher for the Louisiana State Public Defender’s office in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Mr. Doane’s favorite pastime is spending time with his family. He is a fan of NFL football and the Seattle Seahawks. He is interested in national politics and technology issues. He enjoys fishing, particularly at his family’s cabin in Minnesota
