Gregory W. Landry is an experienced civil trial lawyer with the highest credentials. His practice areas include Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Aviation Law . Mr. Landry has achieved a “Super Lawyer” designation in personal injury and medical malpractice by Super Lawyers Magazine, and he is listed by peer selection in The Best Lawyers in America. He was selected as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Iowa by the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Landry received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Drake University Law School in 1983. He is admitted to practice in Iowa, Florida, and Missouri . He is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals (Eighth Circuit), the U.S. Claims Court, and the U.S. District Court (Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa). He is a member of the Iowa, Florida and American Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Iowa Association for Justice, the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Landry has been given Law Dragon recognition for his successful personal injury practice. In 2006, Mr. Landry and George A. LaMarca received the prestigious Public Justice Award from the Iowa Association for Justice for their successful class action lawsuit to end unjust billing practices of hospitals and other healthcare providers.
Mr. Landry has his private pilot’s license and is instrument rated, and is a member of the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association. He has handled many types of aviation incidents involving commercial planes, private planes, jets and helicopters.
When not spending time with his family, which includes his wife Diane, a twenty-one year-old son at Iowa State University and a five year-old attending the Bergman Academy in Des Moines, Mr. Landry enjoys flying airplanes and working in the yard.
