$143 M to Iowa Housing, Jobs

The state of Iowa is getting two grants that will jump start construction work in the near future. $72 million will go to stalled affordable housing projects and another $71 million will go to helping unemployed workers.

With these funds, construction jobs will be opening up across the state, helping unemployed laborers. In addition, construction firms will be needed  to complete the projects.
