Posted on September 15th, 2010 No Comments

A former University of Iowa swimmer died after injuries he sustained while working on a renovation project at the university’s Boyd Law Building.

The 49-year-old man was injured while working for Swanson Glass, a sub-contractor that was working on the exterior of the building, but the details of the accident are unknown.

The man was rushed to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, but two days later he succumbed to them. University officials have not commented on the accident.

Worker injury can change the lives of an entire family, our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim.
