U.S. Foodservice settles dispute with Deparment of Justice

U.S. Foodservice has agreed to pay $30 million to settle a dispute that spurred from claims arising from a federal investigation.
The Department of Justice conducted a federal investigation alleging that the company improperly priced their government contracts between the years of 2002 and 2005.
The company has denied these claims and has said that they have done nothing wrong. The company distributes food to hospitals, schools, hotels, government entities and restaurants.
